Setting Your Rates in DOD Source

Step 1:

Getting your details for your internet connection
Go to www.speedtest.net and let the page load.
Note: Before starting the test please change the following in the top of the window, under settings
Speed Measurement = Kilobytes


Step 2:

Once the settings have been saved...
start the test by clicking on the yellow server located in the main window.
This will then test your upload and download limits for your internet connection.
Shown below are my results



Step 3:

Be aware of your server's tickrate and sv_maxrate. The most common server config's are as follows:
The server tick rate is 66
the server sv_maxrate is 25000

Step 4:

Now that we have all the information, go to this site and fill in the details:
